Fertilising guideline

FERTILISING YOUR SUCCULENT — SIMPLE GUIDELINE

Use a low-nitrogen fertiliser (cactus/succulent type). Dilute it more than recommended — about ½ strength is enough. Apply only during the growing season (spring–summer), roughly once every 3–4 weeks. Do not fertilise in winter.

Do not try to “push” growth. Succulents prefer stability over speed. Too much fertiliser leads to soft tissue, weak roots, and loss of natural shape.

Add micronutrients (trace elements) from time to time. They support color, structure, and overall plant health. Without them, the plant survives — but doesn’t fully develop.

If your substrate is mineral (as in this kit), fertiliser becomes a supporting tool, not the base. Keep it light, consistent, and controlled.
